So... I am putting together my post-Sinister trades (so few) and trying to acquire the rest of my set and then POW, I get a PM from Alien_Flanders, who can help me out as he is interested in a few figs of mine and he has a couple that I am (one, so seriously) after.
And we quickly (and, I think, happily) cut a deal...
As always, the waiting will be the hardest part but as Alien_Flanders is from Perth (how cool is that?), it shan't be long...

SECURED and in good hands...
Well.. the event @ SGC was not a Marquee, which was a little weird, but it still rocked. There were more than 10 players and the Sinister set was interesting. Of course, the highlight of the day was Mel pulling Black Bolt and having a great time playing him. We both got one game Win in but really, the fact that Mel actually was into it was the BIG THING.
We hope to play again this Sunday but not @ SGC as their event will be too late and conflict with Michael's birthday. We have to pick up his present and Mel plans to play again and maybe (just maybe...) it will actually be a Marquee.

SYDNEY Sinister Marquees - July 9 & 16
The SGC Sinister Marquee details have been here for a while (see previous posts - event is Sunday July 9) but DRAGGOR (Croftmintser Forum ID) has updated me with the latest July Event News from Unlimited Hobbies, Blacktown.
UH Herolclix is less hardcore than SGC. SGC draws the most competetive players and collectors (the range of Heroclix products @ SGC has no rival in Sydney drawing punters) from all over Sydney. UH is more a local scene and focuses on the social, fun Heroclix experience. Draggor @ UH was the person who got me into the Heroclix "scene" when I was living 5 minutes from UH. I would definately recommend UH to the beginner or social gamer and SGC to anyone who wants to test thier mettle.
I find UH is more a local-type venue/retailer andd it is best to contact DRAGGOR (via the Croftminster Forum) about event details and ring UH (02 - 8814 8700) regarding product availability or pricing. UH has no website and an actual preference (as via the Croftminster links) to NOT acccept emails.

"NO DAMAGE REDUCERS"
I have organised to be at SGC's long publicised Sinister Marquee but I will try and make both.
